By Mrs. Hinde Gordon
My feet stumble along, falling, stopping, continuing,
Along paths, some clear, some thorny, some untrodden,
Fumbling along in the darkness of the Golus.
And, then, suddenly, amid the gloom, I see
A light, Your light,
The one and only light to guide me, to move me
From the darkness, from the night, to the day.
And, here You are with me,
Giving light, being light
Giving life, being life.
Thank you, Hashem, for being here, there, everywhere.
